- HOW TO LOOK UP A TERM (LOOKUP MODE)
- Just type in your term and press Enter. The
- highlighted definition will be retrieved.
- Press 2, 3, 8 and 9 on your numeric keypad
- to move up and down the term list and the
- definitions. Use 3 and 9 to go faster.

- The Glossary is very fast even on a 286. This
- cannot be demonstrated over a modem.

- HOW TO QUIT
- To quit, select QUIT from the menu (Shift-0).

- HOW TO SEARCH DEFINITIONS (SEARCH MODE)
- You can search within the text for every
- occurrence of a term. Use this to learn more
- about a term or find a product or vendor that
- is not a term by itself.

- 1. To get into Search Mode, select SEARCH from the
- menu (Shift-0). The cursor will switch from
- Look Up Term to Search Definitions.

- 2. Press 7 (Home) on the numeric keypad to go to
- the start of the Glossary. Then type in your
- term and press Enter. The search stops at the
- first match. To continue the search, press
- Enter again.

- 3. To go back to Lookup Mode, press Tab.

- HOW TO PRINT A DEFINITION
- (Disabled) You can print any definition.

- HOW TO EXTRACT A DEFINITION
- (Disabled) You can append definitions to a text
- file for input into another application.

- HOW TO REVIEW YOUR LOOKUPS
- Press Shift-3 and Shift-4 to review the
- definitions you looked up.

- HOW TO SET AND FIND A BOOKMARK
- You can set a bookmark and return to that
- location. Select BOOKMARK and FIND from the menu
- (Shift-0).

- HOW TO SET MONOCHROME COLORS FOR LAPTOPS
- To switch from color to black and white for
- greater contrast on laptop screens, select MONO
- from the menu (Shift-0).

- HOW TO RUN THE GLOSSARY AS A POPUP (TSR)
- The DOS version comes with a TSR option that takes
- only 6K of RAM and lets you pop up the Glossary
- over a standard VGA text or graphics application.
