-
- SUGGESTED WAYS OF ACCESSING
- THE INFORMATION IN THIS COLLECTION
-
- There's just about 1 megabyte of material in this compilation of
- electronic network information.
-
- Don't let it scare you off, though...it's easy, really effortless to
- browse through the material using the hypertext links.
-
- Here's a couple of approaches you might want to use:
-
- <net02> MAIN MENU and topical structure - simple topical arrangement
-
- <netlist> Table of Contents - Short descriptive listing of all files,
- with hypertext jumps to the files. Good for browsing.
-
- <glossary.txt> KWOC index - Use the Keyword Out of Context index to pick
- out items of interest
-
- <g index> Online index - use MaxThink's "Glossary" feature for quick
- search of any keyword you enter (using "L" key), or
- highlight (using "G" or "W" keys).
-
-
- Useful system tools:
- --------------------
- <c.hlp> "Marking" to cut & paste interesting material to an ASCII file.
-
- <b.hlp> "Bookmarking" - automatic building of a hypertext link list to
- files you want to come back to later.
-
- <link52> Use your own wordprocessor or ASCII editor to edit, annotate, add
- your own links, or otherwise personalize system files. Add links
- with any ASCII editor, by putting the DOS file name between angle
- brackets, e.g., <howto>. Use the same convention to modify menus,
- and add your own files to the system, for that matter.
-
- Use "F" or "B" to scan forward or backward in a displayed text
- file, to search for specified words.
