- ┌────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┐
- │ Version 2.00.00 ... Released 6/10/93 │
- └────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘
-
- * Completed the marriage between DC TERM version 1.15 and RIPterm version
- 1.53.00. DCTERM.EXE version 1.15 renamed to DCTERMXL.EXE and
- RIPTERM.EXE version 1.53.00 renamed to DCTERM.EXE.
-
- * New DCTERM.EXE version 2.0 automatically shells to DCTERMXL.EXE when
- user enters the DC NET database and returns when user exits DC NET
- database.
-
- * The "nonstop, quit or continue" prompt no longer hangs up the terminal
- program with the message "One Moment Please..."
-
- * DCTERMXL.EXE has enhanced support for SVGA video cards.
-
- * DCTERM.EXE version 2.0 no longer supports standard VGA when viewing
- images as there is not enough room for the text and images on the
- same screen in 320x200 resolution.
-
- * DCTERM.EXE version 2.0 now supports text and images on the same screen
- in 35 line mode. Multiple images and text windows are now allowed
- all overlaying the database information.
-
- * DCTERM.EXE version 2.0, by way of its seamless interfacing with RIPterm
- 1.53.00, allows users to both view RIPscrip and color images without
- having to have two different terminal programs.

- ┌────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┐
- │ Version 2.10.00 ... Released 9/20/93 │
- └────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘
-
- * Support for the Order Entry system has now been fully implemented.
- Service Providers can now place online any sort of product catalog,
- and DC Terminal will handle the complete order entry process. The
- Order Entry system is an add-on option for the DC-Network Photograph
- Database.
-
- * Support for several more video cards has been implemented.
-
- * Memory management has been improved in a variety of ways. Screen
- images have been off-loaded into a resource file, called DCTERM.RES.
- This has resulted in a substantial savings in conventional memory
- requirements, alleviating problems associated with image decompression
- with inadequate memory. An unfortunate side effect of this new
- caching scheme is that DC Terminal's screen responses might appear
- a bit slower.

-
- ┌────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┐
- │ Version 2.14.00 ... Released 11/08/93 │
- └────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘
-
- * Fixed several minor bugs, including a problem computing tax information
- for the Order Entry system, and an adjustment to the efficiency
- computation for download times.
-
- * DC Terminal now checks at runtime to see if you are using a Logitech
- Mouse driver less than version 6.20. If you are, DC Terminal warns you
- that you may experience problems, and advises you on how to update
- to version 6.20 or higher.
-
- * We have removed the various VESA VGA drivers (called VGAxxxx.EXE), and
- replaced them with a new Universal VESA driver (called UNIVESA.EXE).
- VGATEST has also been removed from the installation disk.
- If DC Terminal is unable to recognize your video card, try running
- UNIVESA prior to running DC Terminal.
