  24. "shape palette", layers, gradient fills, patterns, amazing line
  25. styles, text that wraps to fit shapes, notes, aligning and 
  26. transforming commands, and more.

  30. Top Draw is the sophisticated drawing program for people who need
  31. to create quality drawings quickly. It is easy to learn, and easy
  32. to use. This object-oriented drawing program is ideal for desktop
  33. publishing, brochures, newsletters, illustrations, logos, charts,
  34. diagrams, and more.  Its long lists of features includes:
  35. Complete on-line context-sensitive hypertext help. Multi-level
  36. undo. Unlimited named layers. Open multiple drawings at one time.
  37. WYSIWYG text editing.  Text wraps to fit shapes.  TrueType font 
  38. support. Notes. Create custom pens, arrow heads, and arrow tails.
  39. Calligraphic effects. Three gradient fill types. Pattern and Tile
  40. Textures. Full Bezier curve support, as well as polyline shape
  41. editing. Powerful aligning, spacing, and transforming commands 
  42. for precision layouts. Import WMF, BMP and PCX. Export WMF.
  43. Drawings can be created using  pre-defined shapes from the handy
  44. Shapes Palette, or you can easily draw your own.  And much more!

  54. The install program provided with Top Draw works for 3.5" and 
  55. 5.25" high density media, 720K media, 360K media, CD-ROMs, and
  56. with BBS files unzipped in a hard drive directory.

  58. For the install program to work properly with low density media,
  59. files must be copied to the proper disks as described below.
  60.  
  61. Microsoft LZ compression is used for diskette distribution.
  62. PKZIP 2.04G high-compression is used for BBS distribution.
  63. Top Draw is normally provided on 3.5" HD media.

  66. 3.5" HD (1.44M) Distribution:

  89.     6 char:    TOPDRA.ZIP, TOPDRB.ZIP, ...

  91. CD-ROM: 
  92.    Top Draw can be installed normally, copied to a CD-ROM 
  93.    directory, and run directly from a CD-ROM. Use the BBS version
  94.    if the CD-ROM will be used mainly by SYSOPs.

  96. Note:
  97. Please do not distribute files downloaded from a BBS on floppy
  98. disk. The installation process will be inconvenient.  Request the
  99. Diskette Version and get a copy customized with your company's
  100. name (details below).

  103.                 TOP DRAW DISTRIBUTOR LICENSING
  104.                 ------------------------------
  105. ALL DISTRIBUTORS:
  106. Copies of Top Draw Shareware Version may be made and distributed
  107. as long as 1) none of the files are modified or deleted, 2) the
  108. program is described as "shareware" (under no circumstance shall
  109. Top Draw be described as "free", "freeware", or "public domain").
  110. Copying and distribution of the Registered Version of Top Draw
  111. is prohibited.
  112.  
  113. A Distributor License is FREE to all bona fide Disk Distributors, 
  114. BBSs, User Groups, and Software Retailers.  The license will 
  115. remain valid for future versions of Top Draw as long as the 
  116. distributor continues to comply with the terms of the agreement.
  117. No renewal is necessary. Additional restriction apply. See below.

  119. FREE COPIES:
  120. Copies of Top Draw Shareware Version may be made and distributed
  121. freely as long as no fee of any kind is charged.  In this case, 
  122. no application is necessary.

  124. ASP VENDORS:
  125. If you agree with the terms of the Distributor License (below),
  126. no application is necessary prior to starting distribution.  If
  127. you would like to receive a copy of Top Draw customized with your
  128. company's name, or if you need the program files in a different
  129. format, please fill out and send in the Distributor License.

  131. NON-ASP VENDORS:
  132. Written approval from the author is required prior to starting 
  133. distribution. Please apply.

  135. NOTE: 
  136. If you received a disk from Top Software (or an authorized agent),
  137. and you agree with the terms of the Distributor License, you have
  138. permission to begin distribution immediately.  Please fill out
  139. and send in the Distributor License to indicate that you wish to
  140. continue to receive updates.

  142. BBSs and USER GROUPS:
  143. BBSs and User Groups may copy and distribute Top Draw. User 
  144. Groups may charge a nominal fee in order to cover library 
  145. cataloging and copying costs. Copying and distribution must be 
  146. terminated upon request by the author.  If you would like to 
  147. receive a copy of Top Draw customized with your organization's 
  148. name, or if you need the program files in a different format,
  149. please fill out and send in the Distributor License application.

  151. ROYALTIES:
  152. Currently, no royalty is required for distribution of the 
  153. Shareware Version of Top Draw.  Royalties may be requested 
  154. in specific instances.

  173. "About" dialogs of the program.  This information will be
  174. requested of users when they register in order to track the 
  175. registration performance of various distribution channels.

  177. You will receive disks for new program versions and maintenance 
  178. upgrades as they are released.

  192.    are listed, refer to the documentation accompanying the 
  193.    diskette for current rates and options.

  195. 2. This license may be terminated by the author at any time.
  196.    Diskette and BBS distribution: Offering and sale of Top Draw
  197.    will be stopped immediately at any time the author so requests.
  198.    CD-ROM distribution: No new masters will be created using Top
  199.    Draw after the license is terminated.

  201. 3. Copies of Top Draw distributed will be complete and unmodified.
