  1. Instuctions for Installing Prtograms:

  3. Please note that there are 3 programs on this disk, and instructions are
  4. given for installing each in turn.

  7. Personal Observing Log for Windows:
  8.  
  9. 1. Create a directory on your hard disk, and change to it. For Example:
  10.  
  11.    C:
  12.    MD POL
  13.    CD POL
  14.  
  15. 2. From that directory run the POL program from the floppy drive. For example
  16.    if your floppy drive is A:
  17.  
  18.    A:POL
  19.  
  20. 3. The program is now installed. You should add an icon for PO-LOG.EXE in the
  21.    new directory to Program Manager. You can aslo examine POL.WRI from
  22.    windows write, to examine the documentation. See your windows manuals for
  23.    more details.

  25. WinMeuss:
  26.  
  27. 1. Create a directory on your hard disk, and change to it. For Example:

  29.    C:
  30.    MD WINM
  31.    CD WINM
  32.  
  33. 2. From that directory run the WINMEUSS program from the floppy drive. For
  34.    example if your floppy drive is A:
  35.  
  36.    A:WINMEUSS
  37.  
  38. 3. The program is now installed. You should add an icon for ASTROWIN.EXE in
  39.    the new directory to Program Manager. See your windows manuals for
  40.    more details.

  42. GALAX:

  44. 1. Create a directory on your hard disk, and change to it. For Example:

  47.    MD GALAX
  48.    CD GALAX

  50. 2. From that directory run the GALAX program from the floppy drive. For
  51.    example if your floppy drive is A:

  53.    A:GALAX

  55. 3. The program is now installed. You should add an icon for GALAXIES.EXE in
  56.    the new directory to Program Manager. See your windows manuals for
  57.    more details.
