  27. System Requirements

  30.  Computer:    100% Windows 95/98 DirectX compatible computer
  31.         required.

  33.  Graphics Card:    PCI Graphics card required.

  35.  CD-ROM:        Quad speed IDE or SCSI CD-ROM Drive required

  37.  CPU:        Pentium 133 or faster required.

  39.  Memory:     16MB RAM required. (For optimum performance, 24MB
  40.         recommended.)

  42.  Sound Card:    100% Windows 95/98 compatible 16-bit sound card

  45.  Input Device:    100% Windows 95/98 compatible mouse required.

  47.  DirectX:       Microsoft DirectX 6.0 is available on this disk
  48.         and must be installed to run Star Wars: Behind

  56. INSTALLING Star Wars: Behind the Magic
  57. --------------------------------------
  58. Installation:
  59. 1. Close all open windows and quit all other applications.
  60. 2. Put the Star Wars: Behind the Magic disc in your CD-ROM 
  61.    Drive.
  62. 3. If Autoplay is enabled on your machine, the Installer should
  63.    automatically appear. If the Installer does not open,
  64.    double-click the My Computer icon, then double-click 
  65.    on the CD-ROM icon in the window that opens. If the Installer
  66.    still does not open, double-click on the Behind.EXE file
  67.    to run the program. 
  68. 4. Click on the Install Star Wars: Behind the Magic button and
  69.    follow the onscreen directions to install the program on your
  70.    system. 
  71.  
  72.  Behind the Magic needs to have DirectX 6.0 installed to run.
  73.  During the installation of Behind the Magic, you will be prompted
  74.  to install DirectX 6.0 if it is not already installed on your
  75.  system. 
  76.  
  77.  Launching:
  78.  Once installed, Behind the Magic can be launched by clicking on
  79.  the Start menu and choosing Programs\LucasArts\Behind the Magic
  80.  \Behind The Magic or by reinserting the disc in your CD-ROM drive
  81.  (if Autoplay is enabled).  In the Launcher, click Start Star
  82.  Wars: Behind the Magic to launch the program.
  83.  
  84.  (Note: Do NOT attempt to directly run the btm.exe file installed
  85.   in your BTM directory.  Doing so may cause your system to
  86.   lock-up.)

  132. Desktop Color Palette

  134.  We recommend that you set your desktop to High Color (16 bit).
  135.  When running Star Wars: Behind the Magic with your desktop set
  136.  to a color palette other than 16 bit, you may experience various
  137.  problems while running the program.

  140. Task Switching

  144.  We recommend that you do not task switch while running Star Wars
  145.  Behind the Magic.

  148. Printing
  149. --------
  150.  LucasArts will not be able to offer direct support for
  151.  specific printers.  Behind the Magic utilizes standard Windows
  152.  print functions, so if your printer is properly configured, you
  153.  should not encounter any problems.  If you are unable to print
  154.  successfully, your printer may not be set up correctly, and we
  155.  recommend you contact the manufacturer of your printer for
  156.  additional assistance.

  158.  If you are experiencing problems when attempting to print, make
  159.  sure that the Go to Desktop option is selected in the Star Wars:
  160.  Behind the Magic Printer Settings window.
