Mines
=====
- this is a list of all known Mines games for any operating system or
shell that can run programs (in their own specific format).
. Macintosh
. HP48
. Windows 3.x
. UNIX
. OS/2 Presentation Manager
. DOS
. Atari ST
. Amiga
. VAX/VMS
- it was originally made only for my own personal use, but I'm releasing
it now hoping it might prove useful to others, too, and that I'd be
notified if there's something missing
- the latest version always companies Minerva - The Minefield Stomping Game
. ftp.funet.fi:/pub/msdos/games/puzzle/mines10e.zip
. Jouni Miettunen (jon@stekt.oulu.fi)
- FYI all flamers: IMHO an operating system can individually operate a
hardware system, anything else is a program for some operating system.
Windows 3.x and GEOS need DOS to be able to operate, ergo they are not
operating systems. You might think that I'm wrong in my opinion, but at
least I'm happy in my ignorance and would like to stay that way.
Knowledge is not happiness, and science
But an exchange of ignorance for that
Which is another kind of ignorance.
Lord Byron (1788 - 1824)
