-
- There have been some additional changes in the comp.sources.games
- archive on saab. I now have (temporary) use of a USR Courier HST
- modem which understands USR 9600 baud, V.22bis 2400 baud, 212A 1200
- baud and 103 300 baud. The phone number remains the same.
-
- Note that saab is uucp only to the outside world; if you are looking
- for an ftp'able site your best bet is 'uunet.uu.net'.

- ---------------------------
- Anonomous uucp archive access is available from saab. It has a single
- phone line with a USR Courier HST modem (9600/7200/2400/1200/300).
- [Only talks to another HST at 9600 or 7200.]
- A sample uucp L.sys entry might look like:
-
- saab Any ACU 2400 5039234494 in:-\r-in: ugames ssword: letmein
-
- An index can be retreived with the command (examples only):
-
- uucp saab!/usr1/ftp/games-archive/Index /usr/spool/uucppublic/Index
-
- Individual game sources can be retrieved with the command:
-
- uucp saab!/usr1/ftp/games-archive/gamename.Z /usr/spool/uucppublic/gamename.Z
-
- for older single part games, or
-
- uucp saab!/usr1/ftp/games-archive/gamename/Partxx.Z /usr/spool/uucppublic/gamedir/Partxx.Z
-
- for multi-part (and newer single part) games [or Patchx.Z]. All of the
- source files are compressed with 16-bit compression. If you need
- compress or patch, they are available from the "pub" directory as
- compress.shr and patch.tar.Z.
-
- If you have problems send me email and I'll look into it.
