  6.        the flexible, cost-effective way to get 'near-letter quality' from
  7.        your inexpensive dot matrix printer.  LQ works invisibly with your
  8.        favorite word processor or other program to deliver excellent
  9.        print quality on Epson-compatible and most other dot matrix
  10.        printers.  You can change character fonts and sizes easily in the
  11.        middle of a document.  LQ provides a high-quality version of the
  12.        print options you're used to: EemphasizedF, -1underline-0, S0superscriptT
  13.        and S1subscriptT, double-wide, and several additional options:

  16.          Llarge characters,
  17.          variable line spacingS6
  18.          (like this),
  19.        and a variety of fonts which can be mixed freely within a docu-S$
  20.        ment.  You can use most of the features of LQ without changing
  21.        your old word processing habits at all; other options are acti-
  22.        vated with direct commands or by inserting a few codes in your
  23.        documents.

  25.             The LQ package includes a character editor which lets you modify
  26.        existing character sets or create new ones from scratch.

  28.             LQ is a 'Shareware' product.  You may copy and distribute the
  29.        full LQ disk freely (but don't give out modified versions or copies
  30.        of the printed manual).  If you find LQ useful, you are encouraged
  31.        to buy a registered copy.  Your registration fee of $35 will provide
