- Move the cursor to the asterisk below.

- Press F8 and inspect the menu.
- F5 says "Date Stamp". Press F5.
- As you can see, the date currently set inside your PC is printed on
- the screen immediately under the cursor.

- Move the cursor to the other asterisk above, press F8 and then press
- Shift F5. The time set inside your PC is printed in a similar
- fashion.

- There are two default settings for the Time format:
- Military - in which case 2:00 in the afternoon would be 14:00
- am / pm - in which case 2:00 in the afternoon would be 02:00 pm

- There are 4 default settings for the Date format:
- month day, year e.g., July 13, 1986
- mm/dd/yy 07/13/86
- day month year 13 July 1986
- dd/mm/yy 13/07/86

- These default settings may be changed by tabbing to the field labelled
- "Time and Date Stamp Formats" on the Defaults panel - pressing F10,
- and then selecting the format desired. (You get to the Defaults panel
- by pressing F8 and then F2. You return from Defaults via Esc.) Try
- some alternative formats before quitting this HELP file.
