  2.                              TIME and DATE STAMPS

  4.     Move the cursor to the asterisk below.

  9.     Press F8 and inspect the menu.
  10.     F5 says "Date Stamp".  Press F5.
  11.     As you can see, the date currently set inside your PC is printed on
  12.     the screen immediately under the cursor.

  14.     Move the cursor to the other asterisk above, press F8 and then press
  15.     Shift F5.  The time set inside your PC is printed in a similar
  16.     fashion.

  21.                        Date and Time Formatting Options

  23.     There are two default settings for the Time format:
  24.         Military - in which case 2:00 in the afternoon would be 14:00
  25.          am / pm - in which case 2:00 in the afternoon would be 02:00 pm
  26.  
  27.     There are 4 default settings for the Date format:
  28.         month day, year    e.g.,  July 13, 1986
  29.         mm/dd/yy                  07/13/86
  30.         day month year            13 July 1986
  31.         dd/mm/yy                  13/07/86

  33.     These default settings may be changed by tabbing to the field labelled
  34.     "Time and Date Stamp Formats" on the Defaults panel - pressing F10,
  35.     and then selecting the format desired.  (You get to the Defaults panel
  36.     by pressing F8 and then F2.  You return from Defaults via Esc.)  Try
  37.     some alternative formats before quitting this HELP file.
