- PC-Write Version 2.71 Quickstart Information

- First make a PC-Write working diskette. Start with be a blank, formatted
- diskette. Put your PC-Write program diskette in drive A and the formatted
- diskette in drive B. Enter the following command at the DOS prompt:
- WORKDISK B:

- For a hard disk, create a subdirectory such as PCW and enter the command:
- WORKDISK C:\PCW\

- WORKDISK asks you some questions about your computer setup and preferences.
- Press "Y" for Yes and "N" for No. WORKDISK will ask you to change diskettes.
- Place the PC-Write utility diskette in drive A and press any key to continue.

- To edit a new or old file named LETTER.DOC on a floppy disk, put your working
- diskette in drive A and a diskette for text files in drive B, and enter the
- command:
- ED B:LETTER.DOC

- On a hard disk, change to the PC-Write subdirectory (or put it in your PATH)
- and enter the command:
- ED LETTER.DOC
