  3. There once lived a girl named Goldilocks. Goldilocks
  4. loved getting into trouble. One day, while walking in
  5. the woods, she came along a cabin and went in.

  8. Goldilocks didn't know the cabin belonged to the bear
  9. family, as if it would have mattered. She began
  10. snooping around the house.

  13. In the kitchen were three bowls of soup. Goldilocks
  14. tasted the first bowl. Yuck! Too hot. The second was
  15. too salty, but the third was just right.

  18. Goldilocks found three chairs in the den. The first
  19. one was too hard. The second chair was too soft, but
  20. the third was just right and she rocked it to pieces.

  23. All that rocking made Goldilocks tired. The first bed
  24. was too hard. The second was too soft, but the third
  25. bed was just right. Soon she was sound asleep.

  28. The bear family returned home while Goldilocks slept.
  29. They had been walking and were very hungry.

  32. In the kitchen the Daddy Bear said,  "Someone's been
  33. eating my soup!" Mommy Bear said, "Mine too!" Baby
  34. Bear said, "Mine too, and it's all gone!"

  37. Daddy Bear called from the den, "Someone's been sitting
  38. in my chair!" Mommy Bear said, "Mine too." Baby Bear
  39. said, "Mine too, and they rocked it to pieces!"

  42. The three bears went to the bedroom. "Someone's been
  43. in my bed," said Daddy Bear. "Mine too," said Mommy,
  44. and Baby Bear cried, "Mine too, and she's still here!"

  47. When Goldilocks woke up and saw the three bears, she
  48. ran away into the woods. Goldilocks learned a valuable
  49. lesson about respecting other people's things.
