  12. on their board, and is also download information for their users.  BBS 
  13. Operators and ShareWare Disk Distributors who did not receive these files

  29. PAYROLL USA is probably the most comprehensive payroll system on the ShareWare 
  30. market. It is also better than most commercial payrolls. Works in ANY State. 
  31. and interfaces to ANY Accounting System (even manual bookkeeping).  It does 
  32. EVERYTHING, maintain employee info., calculates pay and taxes (yes, it can
  33. handle California SDI), prints checks or payslips (with option for direct bank 
  34. transfers) check register, payroll register, summary journal, even does 941, 
  35. 940, W-2, and Quarterly State Unemployment List.  Handles taxes on Employee 
  36. Benefit Plans.  Can also export files to Lotus, Quattro, dBASE, etc. Also 
  37. handles multiple pay frequencies, and Accountants doing client payroll will 
  38. appreciate its ability to handle multiple employee files. Complete 
  39. documentation on disk ready to print out. Needs minimum 512K installed RAM and 
  40. a hard disk. Runs on IBM XT, AT, PS/2, and 286/386 compatibles. If you are 
  41. looking for payroll you MUST try this one.

  51. A complete set of files for PAYROLL USA Vers. 3.10 is distributed on 2 360K
  52. 5 1/4 inch diskettes.  BBS operators may wish to further compress each
  53. diskette into a large ZIP file then post each of the two resulting large ZIP
  54. files on their board with this PAYUS31.TXT information file, if possible,

  61. It will take about one hour to download both disks at 2400 baud (half an hour
  62. each), or about 15 minutes total at 9600 baud.  It is a big download but it
  63. will be worthwhile.

  85. If you received the two diskettes, put disk 1 in drive A and type

  91. then insert disk 2 when prompted.

  93. INSTALLATION FROM MODEM DOWNLOADS

  96. If you downloaded the disks over your modem as two large ZIP or ARC etc. files
  97. then they must be unpacked first onto whichever directory you use to test
  98. downloads, or onto diskettes.  They can both be unpacked onto the same disk or
  99. directory.  Once unpacked run the INSTALL program and it will do the rest for
  100. you.

  102. If you experience any difficulty with the INSTALL program you may install the
  103. files manually.  The DOS commands to do this (assuming your hard disk is drive
  104. C and you unpacked the two large ZIP or ARC files onto a directory called
  105. \DOWNLOAD) would be:

  126. Decompressing the ZIP files is a one time job.  It need never be done a second
  127. time.  Once decompressed, whether manually or by the INSTALL.EXE program, you
