  1.                  Welcome To The Writer's Editor Version 1.0!

  3.                           This is Shareware.
  4.  
  5.     To get a complete introduction type INTRO [Enter] on the command line.
  6.  
  7.     To run the editor you will need an IBM PC or compatible; Dos 3.1 or 
  8.     higher, and at least 512k of ram.
  9.  
  10.     
  11.     If you are currently reading from a BBS I recommend you read FILE_ID.DIZ 
  12. and WRITE.TXT while on line.  Both are short and should give you an idea of 
  13. what you are down loading.

  15.     The files provided with the Writer's Editor Version 1.0 are:

  17.     1) INTRO.EXE: a complete introduction to the Writer's Editor
  18.     2) PROEDITS.EXE: the heart of the Writer's Editor
  19.     3) WRITE.EXE: this is the name you type to run the editor
  20.     4) HELPSELF.WRT: this is the help file accessed through the editor only
  21.     5) SAMPLES.DAT: this is the sample Writer's Editor file
  22.     6) SAMPLES.IDX: this is the index file for the samples file
  23.     7) README_.1ST: the file you are currently in
  24.     8) WRITE.SDA: this is the Writer's Editor description file for SDA
  25.     9) FILE_ID.DIZ: Short description so Sysops can describe this demo

  27.     *All of these files should be compressed in the file "WEPACK1.ZIP"!

  29. I hope you are sold on the power of this editor.  Please feel free to 
  30. distribute Writer's Editor version 1.0 to other individuals or BBSs.

  32.     To run the program you type WRITE at the command line, make sure
  33. the other files present.
