  25.      Make Shared Executables Read-Only
  26.  
  27.      Executable files that will be run by more than one user at a time need to
  28.      be marked as read-only.  If they are not, then you may notice, at times,
  29.      that you are temporarily denied access to a file you wish to run.
  30.  
  31.      Example:  You may get a message that access was denied or that the EXE
  32.      file could not be run.  If this happens, mark the executable files
  33.      read-only using the DOS ATTRIB command.  Type ATTRIB +R *.EXE in the
  34.      directory where the executable files exist.  This example marks the *.EXE
  35.      files read-only.

  37.      All shared .COM, .BAT, and .OVL files should be marked as well.  The
  38.      read-only attribute can be cleared using the same command replacing the
  39.      +R with -R.  (See DOS documentation for information on the ATTRIB
  40.      command.)
