  10. Summary:

  12. If you use the IBM Reference Diskettes version 1.31 for the PS/2 model
  13. 90 or 95, you may not be able to use the HIGHSCAN switch with
  14. EMM386.EXE. Using HIGHSCAN may cause your system to stop responding
  15. (hang).

  17. This problem does not occur with Reference Diskette version 1.10.

  19. More Information:

  21. The newer Reference Diskette uses memory addresses in the F000-F7FF
  22. range (although it may use additional memory elsewhere in the
  23. upper memory area).
  24.  
  25. To workaround this problem, run MemMaker Custom Setup and choose No
  26. when prompted to "Scan the Upper Memory Area Aggressively?"
