  25. This setting specifies the number of hard drive partitions available
  26. to MS-DOS.
  27.  
  28. FirstDrive=<drive letter>
  29. -------------------------

  31. This setting specifies the lowest logical drive letter available for a
  32. DoubleSpace host drive.

  34. LastDrive=<drive letter>
  35. ------------------------

  37. This setting specifies the highest logical drive letter available for
  38. a DoubleSpace host drive.

  40. Note: DoubleSpace loads host drives starting at LastDrive= and works
  41. back to FirstDrive=.

  43. MaxFileFragments=<nnnn>

  46. MaxFileFragments is set to 2600 during installation of DoubleSpace.
  47. After DoubleSpace is installed, each time the compressed volume file
  48. (CVF) is changed (deleted, mounted, unmounted, resized), the
  49. MaxFileFragments setting is changed to reflect the new number of file
  50. fragments in all compressed volume files. The new number is a sum of
  51. the file fragments in all CVF's plus 110.
  52.  
  53. For example, if the CVF on drive C has 6 fragments and the CVF on
  54. drive D has 3 fragments, then maxfilefragments=119 (110+6+3). The new
  55. value is used to allocate adequate memory the next time the CVF is
  56. mounted. The changes in the DBLSPACE.INI file (with respect to
  57. allocating memory) take effect after you restart your computer.

  59. Note: The initial setting (2600) and the number added when a CVF is
  60. changed (110) are both read from the DBLSPACE.INF file.

  62. ActivateDrive=<drive letter, drive letter, last number of CVF>

  65. This setting specifies three things:
  66.  
  67.  - The first drive letter specifies which drive letter to use for the
  68.    host drive.
  69.  
  70.  - The second drive letter specifies which drive to use for the
  71.    compress volume file (CVF).
  72.  
  73.  - The third digit is the last number of the compress volume file
  74.    (DBLSPACE.00x). This digit indicates which DoubleSpace volume
  75.    should be mounted.

  77. For example, "ActivateDrive=H,C0" indicates DoubleSpace was used to
  78. compress drive C (using CIP), drive H is used for the host drive, and
  79. the DoubleSpace file name is DBLSPACE.000.
