  11. Summary:

  13. If you used SMARTDrive Monitor (SmartMon) to change SMARTDrive's
  14. cache settings, you may receive the following error message after
  15. exiting SmartMon:

  17.    SmartMon is unable to save the new cache settings in the specified
  18.    batch file.
  19.  
  20. This error message is displayed when SmartMon is unable to find the
  21. SMARTDrive command line in the AUTOEXEC.BAT file. This may be due to
  22. the fact that SmartMon does not recognize the LH command and /L switch
  23. when they are used together. For example, SmartMon cannot modify the
  24. following line:

  26.    lh c:\dos\smartdrv.exe /l
  27.  
  28. To work around this problem, change the cache settings by manually
  29. editing the AUTOEXEC.BAT file.
  30.  
  31. Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in SmartMon version 3.1.
