  36. Microsoft DoubleSpace increases your available disk space by
  37. integrating compression into the operating system. You can use
  38. DoubleSpace to increase available space on both hard disks and floppy
  39. disks.

  41. Microsoft MemMaker

  44. Microsoft MemMaker is a memory-optimization program that makes it easy
  45. to free conventional memory by moving device drivers and memory-resident
  46. programs from conventional memory into the upper memory area (UMA). If
  47. your computer has an 80386 or higher processor, you can use MemMaker to
  48. increase available conventional memory so that programs run faster and
  49. more efficiently.

  51. Microsoft Backup

  54. Microsoft Backup is a utility for backing up your hard disk drive.
  55. MS-DOS 6 includes both Backup for MS-DOS, a program you can start from

  71. protection in case you accidentally delete a file. MS-DOS 6 includes

  88. Interactive Start gives you the ability to bypass startup commands
  89. when you turn on your computer. This feature allows you to choose
  90. which CONFIG.SYS commands MS-DOS should carry out and whether MS-DOS
  91. should run your AUTOEXEC.BAT file. By controlling the commands your
  92. computer uses to start up, you can pinpoint problems more quickly and
  93. easily.

  133. The following commands have been added or enhanced for MS-DOS 6:

  135.  - The MOVE command moves one or more files from one directory or drive
  136.    to another. You can also use the Move command to rename directories.

  138.  - The CHOICE command allows you to prompt a user for input when
  139.    running a batch program. The CHOICE command allows you to display a
  140.    specified prompt, pause for user input, and return an error-level
  141.    parameter to the batch program.

  143.  - The DELTREE command deletes a directory and all of its files and
  144.    subdirectories.
