This is supplementary documentation provided by a satisfied user
of Unslushv.sys. Don't blame Zenith if I have made some sort of error!
In order to take full advantage of UNSLUSHV.SYS on my Zenith
386/33 ISA machine, I found that I needed to specify either the include=
or frame= parameter when calling QEMM, i.e. my CONFIG.SYS had to include
either
device=unslushv.sys
device=qemm386.sys ram frame=e000
or
device=unslushv.sys
device=qemm386.sys ram include=e000-efff
Otherwise, most of the E region remained (unnecessarily) unavailable.
With the above changes in Config.sys, I get an extra 64K of memory that
can be used for loading TSRs high or for EMS.
Other memory managers probably include comparable parameters. I don't
know if my experience is typical, but it is something to try out if
Unslushv doesn't seem to be helping that much.
