- To create your own custom help pages in
- HDM's help system, rename this file to:
- HELPA.HDM thru HELPZ.HDM for pages A-Z.
- HELP0.HDM thru HELP9.HDM for pages 0-9.
- Each help page is 21 lines long with 51
- characters per line. The first line will
- also be used for the page index name.

- If this file is renamed to HELPX.HDM and it is located in the same directory
- as the HDMHELP.EXE file, then its contents will be used as Page X in HDM's
- help system. To try it out, rename HELPDEMO.HDM to HELPX.HDM. Press F1 in
- HDM to display the initial help screen (see A1DEMO.000 and HELPDEMO.000 for
- information on changing that screen) then press <Enter> to display the menu
- of Help Pages. Press the letter <X> to display page X with your custom help
- text. The index for page X will contain the first 20 non-space characters
- from the first line of your custom help page. If your text is not displayed
- make sure that the file name is HELP?.HDM (where ? is A-Z or 0-9) and that
- it is in the directory where the HDM executable files (*.EXE) reside.

- For additional customization see the files: HDMDEMO.HDR for the logo/header
- screen and A1DEMO.000 & HELPDEMO.000 for menu entry & menu file help screens.
- You can also have information files displayed & printed by HDM's help system
- by giving the files a DOC extension (*.DOC) and putting them in the same
- directory as HDMHELP.EXE. Press F2 while in HDM's help to see your files.
