  1. CLOTHING ALLOWANCE:
  2.     Any Vet entitled to receive compensation for
  3.     a service-connected disability for which he wears or uses
  4.     prosthetic or orthopedic appliances which VA determines tends
  5.     to wear out or tear clothing is entitled to an annual clothing
  6.     allowance of $434.00 (effective 12/31/91).  May also receive
  7.     it if a prescribed skin ointment or medication permanently 
  8.     stains the clothing.
