  19. I want to let you know that your continued service in the Persian Gulf area is
  20. not forgotten by those of us who remain in the United States.
  21.  
  22. I am part of a computer bulletin board network that has been sending messages to
  23. those who were deployed to Saudi Arabia.
  24.  
  25. We all share the feeling that what you are doing is admirable, and we hope that
  26. you are able to return home soon.
  27.  
  28. There are still yellow ribbons up, flags flying and coming home
  29. celebrations going on daily back here, and it is a good bet you'll be
  30. greeted with open arms and appreciation as well! And rightly so! The
  31. performance of the military in the Gulf has added a new chapter to how
  32. things are supposed to be done; professionally, swiftly, and without a
  33. bunch of hand-wringing from the politicians.
