REMAINS RETURNED STATUS blt-c.txt

The U.S. Government has released the names of POW/MIA's whose remains
were returned and identified in October.
Robert E. Bush/USAF/Hamden, CT/03-24-66 NVN
Jerdy A. Wright, Jr/USAF/Farmington, WA/04-15-72 NVN
Larry Trimble/USAF/Farmington,WA/04-15-72 NVN
Charles Huneycutt, JR./USAF/Charlotte, NC/11-06-67 NVN
Wilmer P. Cook/USN/Annapolis, MD/12-22-67 NVN
David B. William/USMC/Lafayette, LA/03-07-66 NVN
Samuel Maxwell/USAF/Omaha, NE/09-12-68 NVN
Since the end of the war,
5 "UNRECOVERABLE" sets of remains have been returned.
20 "UNKNOWN KNOWLEDGE" of incident were returned.
11 "DOUBTFUL KNOWLEDGE" (over water, etc.), were returned.
143 "PROBABLY IDENTIFIED, connected with an incident in the media but
not named, probably known by the enemy, with a "CATEGORY 1" individual,
suspect knowledge, CATEGORY," were returned.
64 CATEGORY 1, "CONFIRMED KNOWLEDGE", identified by name, releasee,
escapee, intelligence, during or immediately after the war ended-
were returned as remains since the end of the war.
2331 Men are still acknowledged by the USG as being missing. Even tho 243
remains have been identified, many more sets of remains have been
returned. Many of those have been found to be animal bones, or S.E.
Asian indiginous forces.
