  4. This command is used to specify the conferences that will be used as defaults
  5. for Reading and Scanning messages when the [S]elected command is used.
  6.  
  7. When the Update Conference command is selected a screen appears listing the
  8. conferences available to your security level similar to the following:

  10.        0) * General Message Area        1) * Games Comments/Info
  11.        2) * DOS Commands & Info         3) * Classifieds - Buy & Sell
  12.        4) * Technical Information       5) * Printer Technical Info
  13.        6)   SysOp to SysOp Area         7) * BBS Advertisements
  14.        8) * Commercial Software Info    9) * Uploaded File Reviews
  15.       10)   Comments to the SysOp      11) * NetMail - BBS/BBS Direct

  17.     -Pause- [#-#], [D]eselect all, [H]elp, [S]elect all, [Q]uit?

  20. The above display indicates that you have access to 12 conferences, and that
  21. you scan and read from 10 of them (marked with the *) when the [S]elected
  22. command is used.

  24. You may modify your default conferences by entering the number of the
  25. conference to change.  Entering a conference number toggles the status from
  26. selected (*) to not selected (no *).  You may also deselect or select ALL
  27. available conferences with the [D]eselect all or [S]elect all commands.

  29. [#-#]          - You can select a range of conferences to Scan/Read.  Type
  30.                  the number of the conference you would like to start and
  31.                  then type the dash ("-") and then type the number of the
  32.                  conference to finish at.  This selection will selext all
  33.                  conferences between the two numbers including the
  34.                  conferences selected.  ie. [2-5] will select conferences
  35.                  2, 3, 4 and 5.  An "*" will appear next to all the
  36.                  conferences that have been selected.

  38. [D]eselect all - This selection will deselect all conferences.  You will
  39.                  notice that the "*" next to the selected conferences will
  40.                  disappear.

  42. [S]elect all   - This selection will select all conferences.  You will notice
  43.                  that the "*" will appear next to the conference numbers
  44.                  which are selected.
