  3. PLEASE DO NOT DISTRIBUTE THE NON-SHAREWARE VERSION OF WPFOLDER - that is
  4. bad for my financial health and serves as the ultimate disincentive to
  5. future programs of this type.

  8. If you have installed the "shareware" version of THE FOLDERS SYSTEM, you
  9. need not go through the entire AUTOINST procedure. Copy from the
  10. distribution disk the file FOLDERS.EXE to your hard disk to replace the
  11. existing file of the same name, i.e.: For WP 4.2 - "COPY A:FOLDERS.EXE
  12. C:\WP\FOLDERS.EXE" For WP 5.0 - "COPY A:FOLDERS.EXE C:\WP50\FOLDER.EXE"

  15. For WP 5.0 - Improved ALTX.WPM - Alt-X macro. Copy this to your WordPerfect
  16. macro directory - For standard installations use: "COPY A:ALTX.WPM

  20. WPFOLDER is extensively revised to improve the screens, allow assigning
  21. names to DIRECTORIES and permit use of a mouse. Tested with LOGITECH and MS
  22. two button mice.

  25.                    WORDPERFECT 5.1 & WPFOLDER
  26. WPFOLDER may be used with WP 5.1. Early versions of WP 5.1 (before March
  27. 1990) contained a "bug" which precludes using AltQ(1) to save the first time the
  28. document was save - subsequent saves worked correctly. The problems has since
  29. been cured. A totally new set of "Options" has been added to accommodate WP5.1
  30. EMS and other command line parameters. The main screens have been "Moused" and
  31. tested on a VGA 386SX machine and a 8088 CGA machine without problems. A small
  32. box appears on the lower left corner of the sceen if the mouse is active.
