  2. This version may take a long time loading. If your video card allows EGA mode
  3. and your system is 8MHz or less in speed your load time for the initial screen
  4. could be as long as a minute. This will be corrected in following versions.

  8. This is a quick readme file for guiding the user in using CBEEF with
  9. WordPerfect, and in particular, using the merge functions of WordPerfect.
  10. Included on your disk is a file named CBPRIM.  This file is referred to as
  11. your primary file.  It is in WordPerfect format, so just bring it up and type
  12. your letter into the body of this file.  Then, in CBEEF, choose under the
  13. Address menu, to send your output to a WP secondary file.  After choosing your
  14. search condition, etc., run a search.  At this time, if you have chosen the
  15. default name, CBEEF has created a file named WP2ND.ASC.  Now exit CBEEF. Enter
  16. WordPerfect and type CTRL-9 for merge.  When WordPerfect requests a primary
  17. file, type CBPRIM, and when it requests a secondary, enter WP2ND.ASC. Remember
  18. WordPerfect will probably need a full path name like \CBEEF\WP2ND.ASC. At this
  19. point, depending on your search criteria, you should have several letters
  20. written at once.
