  21. LASR-MAN v2.11: Laser printer utility for ASCII files with sixteen styles; por-
  22. trait or landscape orientation with 10, 12 or 16 chars/inch (cpi) printing on
  23. one or both sides of each sheet; landscape at 16 cpi, two 72 lines pages on one
  24. side, four pages both sides; booklet (single files) or manual (multiple files =
  25. chapters). Config. files allow printing on legal size paper/non HP printers.

  28. LASR-MAN v2.11: LASERMAN will print unformatted ASCII files (those without
  29. printer control characters) on a laser printer in any one of sixteen styles.
  30. These styles include the normal portrait or landscape orientation with either
  31. 10, 12 or 16 characters per inch (cpi). Multiple passes may be made, printing
  32. on both sides of each sheet. Additionally, using the landscape orientation at
  33. 16 cpi, two pages may be printed on each side of a sheet. This allows up to
  34. four pages each with 72 lines to be printed on a single sheet of letter size
  35. paper. The program also has the ability to print individual files where each is
  36. in the form of a booklet or a group of files may be printed together as chap-
  37. ters of a book in the form of a manual. Configuration files are included to

  41. IBM PC, XT, AT or true compatibles operating with PC/MS-DOS, version 3.0 or
  42. later, any monitor, Hewlett-Packard LaserJet printer or compatible. May also be
  43. used with other laser printers after defining their printer command codes in
  44. the optional configuration file.

  103. ╒╡ SPECIAL INSTALLATION INFORMATION ╞═════════════════════════════════════════╕
  104. 1.  TO INCLUDE THE ABILITY TO DISPLAY CONTEXT SENSITIVE HELP, THE HELP-MAN SYS-
  105.     TEM MUST ALSO BE INSTALLED. 
  106. 2.  FOR PROPER OPERATION OF THE BATCH FILE "LASERMAN", THE PATH-MAN SYSTEM MUST
  107.     ALSO BE INSTALLED.
  108. 3.  For initial installations, a default configuration file, DEFAULT.LMC, will
  109.     need to be selected the first time that LASERMAN is run. For full details
