█ that are designed to aid PC users in a variety of ways! █
█ Currently released shareware programs in this series include: █
█▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄█
ENVI-MAN v1.00: An Environment utility to check and display available space.
FILE-MAN v4.21: Menu driven file manager utility with extensive features.
LASR-MAN v2.11: A laser printer utility for ASCII file with sixteen styles.
MENU-MAN v1.21: Utility routine for batch files to produce user menu windows.
PATH-MAN v1.10: Utility to determine if a file is located on a PATH directory.
INSTALL, along with INST-MAN, are the utility programs that will install/up-
grade/remove ■■■■-MAN shareware programs on a hard disk from packed distri-
bution files, display their README files and print their manual documentation,
print order forms for any of the ■■■■-MAN programs, or process the serial num-
ber for programs that have been registered. There are no prior requirements
for printing an order form. To process a registration serial number, the de-
sired ■■■■-MAN program must already be installed on your hard disk, in the
subdirectories defined in you PATH statement.
FOR PROPER OPERATION, ALL REQUIRED ■■■■-MAN FILES *MUST* BE PLACED ON PATH
REFERENCED SUBDIRECTORIES!

INSTALL - INST-MAN OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
1. If the ■■■■-MAN distribution files are on diskette, place the diskette in
the proper drive.
2. If the ■■■■-MAN distribution files have been downloaded from a BBS, assure
that they have been properly unpacked from the file ####@vvv.zip, where vvv
is the version. The required files are:
INSTALL.EXE
INST-MAN.ZIP
PKUNZIP.EXE
PKUNZIP.EXE does not need to be on the same directory as the ■■■■-MAN dist-
ribution files but if it is not, it MUST be on a PATH referenced directory.
There is one optional file, whose name is in the form ####-MAN.ZIP, for
each ■■■■-MAN program.
3. At the DOS prompt, change to the drive and directory on which the ■■■■-MAN
distribution files are located.
4. At the DOS prompt, type "INSTALL" and then press [ENTER].
5. Selection menus are displayed for the type of monitor and for a temporary
PATH subdirectory to be used to unpack files during installation.
6. The resident help manager, HELP-MAN, is then loaded, if it is available.
The installation program, INST-MAN, is next loaded and executed.
7. Documentation requested during the installation process is not unpacked and
printed until INST-MAN has been completed.
