  4. As distributed from ECONO-SOFT, DX.EXE is not registered. If you have a
  5. registered version of DX, the DX_REG program will be pre-registered. Run
  6. DX_REG to copy and register DX for you. It makes a copy and registers the
  7. copy so you can pass the unregistered version out to friends.
  8.  
  9. Note that DX_REG currently will not copy DX onto a previous version. If you
  10. have trouble specifying where to put your registered copy, try putting it 
  11. somewhere else and then moving it manually.

  15. Documentation

  18. Due to space considerations, DX.DOC and DX_UPD.DOC are contained within
  19. the self-extracting archive, DX_DOC.EXE. To extract these files, type:
  20.  
  21.   dx_doc
  22.  
  23. If you would like these files placed in another disk/directory, type:
  24.  
  25.   dx_doc /e[d:][path]   (note: /e must be lower case)
  26.  
  27. For example, to unpack the archive to A:\, type:

  33. Reseting Video Modes
  34. ====================

  36. Some users have reported problems with DX reseting video modes on some
  37. SuperVGA systems. If you experience this, run the DXVIDFIX program
  38. supplied. This fix will be incorporated into DX at some time in the
  39. future obviating the need for this program.
