  5. LOGIMENU is shipped in a compressed form. The INSTALL.BAT file is used to
  6. copy the files to your hard disk or to another floppy drive. The instal-
  7. lation process is completely menu driven and simple to master.
  8.  
  9. FILES INCLUDED WITH THIS PACKAGE:
  10.         README       This file.
  11.         I.EXE        The Install program called by INSTALL.BAT
  12.         INSTALL.BAT  The Install.
  13.         LCOMP        A compressed file containing all the files needed
  14.                      for proper operation of LOGIMENU. This includes
  15.                      an extensive README, the complete owner's manual,
  16.                      the program and utilities, and the samples.

  19.            FILES CONTAINED IN THE LMCOMP COMPRESSED FILE

  21.         DISK#1       Disk Identification. Required by the INSTALL program.
  22.         L1           The main LOGIMENU program. Will be LMENU.EXE
  23.         L2           Contains the SET-UP program. Will be LMENUSET.EXE
  24.         L3           Contains the report generator. Will be LMREPORT.EXE
  25.         L4           Contains the EVENT scheduler. Will be LMEVENT.EXE
  26.         README.EXE   Program for viewing text files.
  27.         INST.DAT     INSTALL data file. (list of files to be installed)
  28.         LMENUCFG.BW  The configuration file for Black & White. (LMENU.CFG)
  29.         LMENUCFG.COL The configuration file for color monitors. (LMENU.CFG)
  30.         BOOT.COM     Utility used to re-boot your computer.
  31.         LMALARM.COM  Memory resident alarm used by the ALARM (if ANYWHERE)
  32.         MPAUSE.COM   Like the DOS PAUSE, but also checks for the mouse.
  33.         README.TXT   "read me" data file. Use program README.EXE to view.
  34.         LMENU.DAT    Sample MENU. This file must exist to allow LMENU to run.
  35.         LMENU.HLP    Custom application help file.
  36.         LMENU.IDX    Custom application help index file.
  37.         LMENUS.HLP   On-line help data file used by the Set-Up.
  38.         REGIST.FRM   Registration form (INVOICE).

  45.         LM.BAT       Not included with LOGIMENU. It is created by the
  46.                      INSTALL. This is the file that must always be used
  47.                      to run LOGIMENU.

  50. ---------------------------- How to INSTALL? -----------------------------

  52. To install LOGIMENU, insert the distribution diskette in drive A: and
  53. enter:
  54.  
  55.         A: [ENTER]
  56.         INSTALL [ENTER]
  57.  
  58. and simply follow the prompts. INSTALL will not modify your system without
  59. your authorization. INSTALL will also give you the choice to include
  60. LOGIMENU in you AUTOEXEC.BAT file (which is the file that is executed auto-
  61. matically when you turn on your computer). If you are currently running
  62. another menu system, you might have to remove it from your AUTOEXEC.BAT file,
  63. otherwise the old menu will be execute before LOGIMENU.

  73. This is the new generation of DOS menu system. From the user who only needs
  74. to access programs quickly and easily (with a touch of a key or two), to
  75. the user who needs to turn on all the bells and whistles, LOGIMENU satisfies
  76. them all. Extensive on-line help, EGA/VGA 43/50 line mode supported, truly
  77. mouse support, has passwords, screen saver, hidden hot keys, customizable
  78. help and all this in an attractive presentation.

  80. LOGIMENU also can remind you of important dates with its Event Tracking.
  81. Brief, LOGIMENU can make your life much easier. Furthermore, LOGIMENU does
  82. not use a single byte of memory while your own programs run. Reporting
  83. system that allows you to generate various interesting reports. Its automa-
  84. tic installation process scans your hard drive for popular programs. One of
  85. its three level of installation will just suit your needs perfectly.

  87. Up to 50 items per menu, 50 sub-menus (multiple levels), 80 commands per
  88. item and 30 general hidden hot keys. LOGIMENU has enough room to satisfy
  89. the most demanding user.

  93. IBM compatible with at least 384 K of memory running DOS 3.0 or higher.

  97. To register, install LOGIMENU. Take note of the code on the solicitation
  98. window for each registration you want to file. Press F8 at the main menu.
  99. This will copy the file REGIST.FRM to your printer. Fill in, and return
