Edit: * Displays the Edit Menu. "Edit" will load for editing, disk files, disk sectors, and memory in ASCII or Hex format. System: * Displays the System Menu. "System" provides the following options: Quit - Returns to DOS. Return to Editor - If you displayed the Main Menu from an editor this option will return you to the editor. Shell to DOS - Unloads GEdit and the GEDit buffer from memory and shells to DOS. To return, enter "EXIT" at the DOS prompt. Run Program - Unloads GEdit and the GEDit buffer from memory and executes the command line that you specify. Press Esc to exit/any other key to continue... System (cont): Redo Edit Session - If you have journaled an edit session (see help on setup), choose this option to replay the session. You may choose to have the session played back automatically or step by step. Copyright Screen - Displays the GEdit Copyright Screen. Setup: * Displays the Setup Menu. "Setup" will accept and save configuration data in memory and in up to 10 disk files. Use setup to customize GEdit to your particular needs. Press Esc to exit/PgUp or for previous page/any other key to continue... Help: * Displays the Help Menu. "Help" will display help screens on: Help Main Menu Setup Editing Printing Print: * Displays the Print Menu. "Print" will save print settings and print any disk file. Escape: * If files are open, pressing <Esc> has the same effect as choosing "Return to Editor" from the System Menu. If no files are open, <Esc> has the same effect as choosing "Quit" from the menu.
