[This is a remnant that I use in place of the Readme for Beta testers when
sending diskettes to folks who read that I have a BBS available and send
me a diskette and return mailer]
Note:
This software is currently being Beta tested and is not intended for general
release. However, a number of you have requested copies and sent diskettes,
so I am passing it along.
The current version is working with very few known bugs. A number of major
enhancements are still being planned.
The documentation is still being prepared! Since the program is not in its
final state, the enclosed release notes are very rough and may not explain
all features. If you are not familiar with the W0RLI BBS, you may have some
problems. All features are not totally documented herein.
Most of the Beta sites have agreed to help new Sysops get a system running
once the software is in general release. They will probably be willing to
help some with this version if there is one in your area.
I am unable to support sites other than the official Beta test sites which I
have selected. I'm glad to receive your comments or suggestions, but cannot
promise to respond.
A list of current Beta sites is included on this diskette.
Plans are presently being made to establish the future distribution and
support policies. When the general release version is ready it will be
announced.
I appreciate your interest.

PS -
SOURCE CODE IS NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME!
I have had a number of requests from people wanting to rewrite this system
to run under CP/M or to run on non-IBM compatible machines. This program
is not suited for modification to run under CP/M. All of the communication
I/O routines are IBM specific. It should be as easy or easier to convert
the W0RLI code than to convert this code for CP/M use. Also, there are no
plans to support MS-DOS machines which are not IBM compatible.
