  2.   Use the arrow keys to select a
  3.   disk category and press enter.
  4.   To add a new category, press INS.
  5.   To delete a disk category, select
  6.   one and press the DEL key.

  8. Disk form help screen
  9.   The disk form procedure is called from any sort or search table. To
  10.   add a disk press the Ins key. To edit a disk, use the arrow keys or
  11.   the page up and down keys to select a disk and press enter.
  12.   Enter the information for the title field and press enter. Continue
  13.   entering information for each field. You are not required to enter
  14.   information for every track. Required fields are the 'title' field and 
  15.   the 'media' field.
  16.   When you get to the 'category' field, a pop-up window will give you
  17.   a table showing the choices. At this time you may add a category by
  18.   pressing the Ins key. Use the arrow keys to select a category and
  19.   press 'enter'.
  20.   Press Ctrl-T when you are in the disk form to call the Track table.
  21.   Press Ctrl-Enter to accept a screen from anywhere in the form. This
  22.   allows for faster entry of data without having to press the enter key  
  23.   numerous times. Press Ctrl-Esc to reject the entire form information
  24.   from anywhere in the form.
  25. Press Enter for more help,  Esc to return to program

  27. Enter a string of characters to search for.
  28. The program will find any occurance any where in the
  29. field. For example:
  30. 'Burton' would find 'Gary Burton'
  31. Upper and lower case are important! For example:

  208.   This procedure will print a complete list of your collection
  209.   and a calculation of it's value. In order for the total field
  210.   to function, you must have recorded your price paid for the disk 
  211.   in the Disk Information screen.

  214.   and if you have a wide carriage printer you will not need to use

  219.   The sort procedures allows you to sort your collection
  220.   by a variety of fields of the disk information. Use the
  221.   arrow keys to make your choice and press Enter.

  224.   The search procedures allows you to 'look up' a disk by
  225.   entering a 'search string' of characters. Use the arrow
  226.   keys to select which field of the disk information you
  227.   will use to find a disk. You will then be asked to enter  
  228.   the search string.  The exception to this is the 'Find
  229.   a Track' and Search by Track User Definable fields
  230.   procedures. This allows you to find which disk have a
  231.   particular track title on them. Since track information
  232.   is an optional feature, you may not be able to use this
  233.   procedure.

  236. Add a Disk Procedure Help Screen
  237.   The add a disk procedure is the same procedure as the Sort by Title
  238.   from the Sort Menu. Actually, you can add or edit a disk from any
  239.   search or sort procedure.
  240.   The locator field provides rapid placement of the cursor bar. Pressing  
  241.   a keystroke will immediately position the cursor bar to the record in
  242.   the table with a value closest to the value keyed. Pressing additional  
  243.   keystrokes will cause the cursor bar to be repositioned each time to
  244.   the record which is closest to the value keyed.
  245.   To edit, place the selection bar on the desired disk and press 'Enter'. 
  246.   To add a disk press the 'Ins' key. To delete a disk, place the cursor
  247.   bar on the desired disk and press the 'F3' key.

  265.   Search procedures allow you to find a particular disk in
  266.   your collection by entering a 'search string' of characters 
  267.   to look for.
  268.   Enter the search string in the field at the top of the
  269.   screen. You need not enter the complete title or name. If
  270.   the string matches any part of the field, you will get a
  271.   list of disks that match. You may then select a disk to
  272.   view or edit by using the cursor keys, and press enter.
  273.   Upper and Lower case are important! For example, entering
  274.   'Bach' on the search string line would find 'J.S. Bach',
  275.   but not 'Herschbach'.
  276.   If the search string does not find a match, a disk form
  277.   will pop-up and you will be prompted to add a record. If
  278.   you do not wish to add a record, press Esc.

  299.   fields such as Title, Artist, Catagory, and Lable.

  330.   Track information is an optional feature of CD-Profile.
  331.   Entering track information gives you a powerful tool to use 
  332.   for searching for which disks have a certain track title.
  333.   This is particularly good for classical collections where
  334.   you may have several versions of a piece of music.

  337. Track Table Help
  338.   The track table shows the track information for a disk. This
  339.   procedure can be called anytime from the disk form procedure
  340.   by holding the CTRL key down and pressing T (CTRL T).
  341.   The first time you call the track procedure for a disk, you will 
  342.   be prompted that 'Record Will Be Added'. Type the first track
  343.   number and press enter. Type the track title and press enter.
  344.   You will then be returned to the track table. To add another
  345.   track record press the Ins key. Tracks will be sorted by track
  346.   number. You may also enter duplicate tracks with same number but 
  347.   with different titles. This is helpful for tracks on a disk that 
  348.   have more than one title. The limit on tracks for any one disk
  349.   is 99.
  350.   Track information can be accessed from the search procedures.

  357. User Defined Field Help
  358.   This is a user defined field. You can change the name of the
  359.   the user fields from the main menu procedure 'Change User
  360.   Defined Fields'. When you change the name of a user defined
  361.   field, the new name will be used for all forms and print
  362.   procedures.
  363.   These user defined fields can be searched from the search menu,  
  364.   or you can sort your collection by these fields.
