  1. For Scoutmate 2.1  Updated 06/20/91  (see instruction book for more

  4. Changes from 2.01 to 2.1:
  5.  
  6. Biggest change is ability to track which requirements a scout has completed
  7. for all ranks, not just the rank that he is currently working on.
  8.  
  9. When selecting a record by name (in Modify, Print, Mail Merge, View,
  10. Delete and Utilities (undelete):
  11.   - case no longer matters (you can enter the name in all lower case,
  12.     upper case, etc. and it won't matter)
  13.   - wildcards are now accepted (If for instance, you wanted to modify a
  14.     record for Browning, John, just enter br and it will select that
  15.     record.  Note that it will select the first record matching that
  16.     specification.

  18. Forms have been taken out of the printer list.

  20. Unawarded badges bug in Honor Court Preparation Module has been fixed.
  21.  
  22. With Unawarded badges report, SCOUTMATE no longer form feeds to the
  23. beginning of the page with each new record.

  25. When using the Query function for Patrol and Position Held queries, case
  26. does not matter.

  28. SCOUTMATE can now be installed from any drive.

  30. Changes from 2.0 to 2.01:

  32. Fixed index corruption problem.

  34. Fixed bug which caused the program to abort after printing a report (option
  35. G on the main menu).

  37. Fixed bug which caused a the personal information page of a scout to mess up
  38. if there was no phone number entered for the scout whose record was being
  39. printed.

  41. Fixed bug which sometimes caused the program to abort or wierd effects to
  42. occur if a printer error occurred while printing out information in the
  43. Troop Inventory and Merit Badge Book modules.

  45. Ability to modify merit badge list has been removed.

  49. The file named "instruct" is the instruction manual (48 pages long).
  50. First unzip the instruction manual by typing:

  52.           pkunzip a:instruct [destination drive]:

  54. and then to copy the instruction manual to a printer... type the following:

  58. or load it up in a word processor (the file is in ascii).
