PLEASE DO NOT BEND
At some time or another, you'll want to mail diskettes. And you'll
want to keep the Postal Service from mangling your package. From
experience, we've found a couple of things that seem to get our diskettes
through without problems:
"Stay-Flat" mailers from Calumet Carton:
These are 7 x 9 stiff white envelopes that refuse to bend or fold.
They're also light in weight (about 1 1/2 oz) so they don't add much to
postage cost. Each envelope can comfortably hold 1-3 diskettes. If you
need large quantities or a different size, you can order them directly from
Calumet. If you need less than 100 of the 7x9s, you can get them from us:
75 cents each, any quantity, postage paid.
Red & White Labels with the message:
"Please Do Not Bend / Please Do Not Expose to Magnetic Fields or Heat"
These are 3" wide by 1 1/2" high, printed in red ink on a glossy white
stock, so they can't be missed. (We put them in the lower left corner of
any package we mail out.) We ordered these special from a label printing
company and can provide them to you for:
20 cents each, any quantity, postage paid.
