  2. Welcome to the world of The Hungry Draughtsman.

  4.         My specialty is Autocad, and the software  I have written is
  5. a program to be used with Autocad for the drawing of bolt
  6. heads and of course nuts and washers.  The advantage of my
  7. program is the list of sizes in actual bolt sizes which
  8. translate from the bolt size to a table to draw the true
  9. size of the head, or washer.

  11.         Of course, this program is being offered as a
  12.         Shareware concept, and I certainly would appreciate
  13.         the offering of $30.00 for this program.  Please

  33.         The bolt routine was developed over several months,
  34. and has been beta tested on Autocad Release 9.  It was run
  35. on computers with CGA, EGA, PGA, and VGA.  We have had no
  36. problems with it, and it is a staple in several draughting
  37. departments in the Cleveland Ohio Area.
  38.  
  39.         The 5 command routines are:
  40.  
  41.                 BOLTE -- BOLT ELEVATION
  42.                 BOLTP -- BOLT PLAN
  43.                 NUTE  -- NUT ELEVATION
  44.                 WASHE -- WASHER ELEVATION
  45.                 WASHP -- WASHER PLAN

  47.         Calling up a routine, after loading it into
  48. Autocad, will present a list of sizes at the bottom, as
  49. they should be entered.  e.g. 1/4 - 1.250 - 10 etc.
  50. Any further call for the routines, will show the default
  51. from the last use, and a simple return will retain the same
  52. size.  This is for multi-inserts of the same shape.  The
  53. next prompt will be for the start or base of the shape.
  54. This is usually on the center line, and the Osmode is set
  55. for "Intersection"  The final prompt is the direction of
  56. the bolt head, and the Osmode is set for "Nearest".  After
  57. picking this point, the shape is drawn to scale.  The above
  58. prompts are for elevations.  For plan views, merely pick
  59. the center line, and the shape will be drawn.  As with the
  60. elevations, the previous size will be the default size.

  62.         I hope that this proves to be successful, and that
  63. you will find it as useful as we have here at Krazy Kad.
