  3. Sysop Tools no longer supports the parameters EGA, VGA, DOS or BIOS unless
  4. they are prefixed with either a '/' or a '-'.
  5.  
  6. EXAMPLE:

  8. STOVL DOS
  9.   no longer works

  11. STOVL -Dos
  12.    or
  13. STOVL /Dos
  14.   or
  15. STOVL -d
  16.   or
  17. STOVL /D
  18.   or
  19. STOVL /do

  21. STOVL -Do
  22.   all work fine and place ST in Dos mode
  23.  
  24. Please note that the 'os' was in lower case. This means that the only character 
  25. really necessary was the D. In summary, the following parms are now accepted.

  27. STOVL  [ -Bios | -Dos | -Ega | -Vga ]
  28.  
  29. The '[' and ']' signify that the parameters are totally optional. The '|' 
  30. represents an 'or'. A '/ ' may be substituted for the '-'. The Dos or Bios
  31. parm has precedent over the Ega or Vga parm if the parms are mixed. They 
  32. should NOT be mixed as to do so makes no sense. The lower case letters in the 
  33. parms are purely for self-documenting purposes and are optional.

  35. Other parms may be added in the future to further facilitate batch type board
  36. maintenance. I am sorry for any inconveniance these changes may cause. I should 
  37. never have allowed the parms without a prefix character in the first place.

  39. BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR BATCH FILES TO REFLECT THESE CHANGES 
  40. before using Sysop Tools v. 1.10 or higher.
