  9.   P&M Software Co. is pleased to announce that it has concluded a
  10.   contract with Chris Smith to provide an enhanced version of his
  11.   program, Sysop Tools, with GT POWER 14.00.

  13.   In my opinion Chris has done a fantastic job.  The new Sysop
  14.   Tools package is the finest example of sysop maintenance program
  15.   that I have had the pleasure to use.

  23.   ANNOUNCING a new message oriented BBS.
  24.  
  25.   The "P&M Test System" is going public.  It will strictly cater to folks
  26.   who use GT POWER.  No need to call it, if GT is not your cup of tea.  The
  27.   board will be limited hours: 6pm - 1am Central Time.  Would be longer,
  28.   but after 1am the netmail run kicks in for the rest of the night.  The
  29.   phone number is our voice number during the day, 713-778-9471, and since
  30.   we will continue to get voice calls, the BBS will be on RING-BACK.  Which
  31.   is much nicer now, due to the "Relaxed RING-BACK" in GT POWER 14.00.
  32.   Let the phone ring twice, hang up and count to ten, then call back.  The
  33.   "P&M Test System" should answer immediately.  If you wish to leave a voice
  34.   message for us, you can call in and let our answering machine take the
  35.   message, it answers on the 4th ring (not interfering with the RING-BACK
  36.   on the BBS).  During normal office hours, the phone will be answered by
  37.   a human being (if you count me as such).

  39.   On non-work days, like Saturday, Sunday and other holidays, the system will
  40.   be continuously available.  Enjoy!

  54.   UNBUNDLED!  Yes, just like the big boys.  The products of P&M Software Co.
  55.   and Mr. James R. Davis are unbundled as of this date.  The good news is
  56.   that this will mean an immediate price decrease for GT!  Effective
  57.   immediately GT's new price will be $40.00.  A price cut of 20%, which
  58.   represents the amount normally paid for the companion programs.  The
  59.   companion programs continue to be available, as shareware, from their
  60.   author, Mr. James R. Davis, through his BBS at (713) 589-0307.

  62.   For those that are unfamiliar with the work of Mr. Davis, these programs
  63.   include the following: GTLOG, GTCTL, GTNET, GTDIR and GTDOR.  We regret
  64.   any inconvenience this may cause you, however this unbundling was made
  65.   necessary due to the fact that Mr. Davis has withdrawn permission for
  66.   P&M Software Co. to distribute his work, and as such is outside of our
  67.   control.  We are actively persuing alternative sources of software, in
  68.   an attempt to replace these programs.

  70.   Now for the really good news!  GT is on SALE!  Yes!  GT POWER is on
  71.   sale!  In addition to the price reduction, P&M Software Co. is conducting
  72.   a model year (just like the auto dealers) clearance sale!  We are preparing
  73.   to release a new version of GT, but need to sell some more of the old
  74.   model.  So we are going to cut you a deal.  Here it is: starting tomorrow,
  75.   2-23-88 and ending on 4-15-88, GT POWER 13.00 will go on sale for only
  76.   $30.00.  If you register under the sale, you will be allowed to upgrade
  77.   to the new model of GT for only $10.  Which is a combined price of $40
  78.   for the new model (which will sell for $50 when released, so the savings
  79.   to you is $10).

  89.   not having time to read the messages waiting for me).
