  3. Welcome. This is a shareware program, so please make copies for friends. If you
  4. want to continue use after a 30 day trial period, please register by sending

  6. form, type ORDER and press <Enter> at the DOS prompt.

  8. The program works best on a hard disk, but it will work (though slower) using
  9. one or two floppy drives. To use on a hard disk, type A:INSTALL and press
  10. <Enter>. INSTALL puts a new directory \REMEM on your C: drive. Or you can copy
  11. the entire diskette to any new directory (COPY A:*.*).

  13. WARNING: To work right, your system needs a CONFIG.SYS file with FILES=20 and
  14. BUFFERS=16 statements (or bigger numbers, like FILES=25). Floppy users should
  15. copy CONFIG.SYS from this disk to the DOS diskette that you boot from (for hard
  16. disk users the INSTALL takes care of this). After copying the file, re-boot
  17. your system (Ctrl-Alt-Del), just this one time, to install CONFIG.SYS.

  19. With floppy or hard disk, type REMEM to start the program. The program will
  20. load and display the first menu. You can print documentation by keying PRINT
  21. and pressing <Enter> at the DOS prompt. There is also a program HELP key. Just
  22. press the F1 function key while you are using the program. The program HELP
  23. messages describe the part of the program you are currently using.
