Submission Information Form
Dear Reviewer: The author listed below authorizes $ave on $oftware
to distribute her new shareware Pricequo program.
Program Title: Pricequo v. 1.0
Author: Betty Gail Jones
Address: Jones Biomedicals & Laboratory, 3106 East Willow Street,
Long Beach, CA 90806
Phone: (213) 426-3909
Description: Pricequo is a calculation program which compares costs
of advertising among printing companies. The user
types in the ad or brochure title, description, names and
number of paper stocks, number of groups of quantities
and quantities to be printed, prices, and extra costs.
Much of this information is used to determine the cost
per finished piece, by the company. The typed data and cost
per piece is printed out by company, paper stock, and
quantity on a dot matrix printer.
Intended User: Individuals and small businesses who want to determine
the best source to have a printing order filled.
Features: Pricequo includes input editing, on-screen company identifi-
cation, and an on-screen calculator mode. There are no
special keys or codes to remember, and no manual is needed.
The user can specify one or compare among several companies.
Up to 6 different stocks can be entered per company, and up
to 4 quantity lots per stock. Each lot can include up to a
5-digit quantity, which allows ample comparisons.
The user can specify the number of lines per results page to be
printed. The page format prints the job title, page number,
and all data in an easily readible format using a dot matrix
printer.
While Pricequo is designed for printing and advertising
needs, there are other comparisons available which are
limited to the user's imagination.
Limitations: None
