HOME MONEY MANAGER IIa
Copyright 1987-1990 by Steven C. Hudgik
All Rights Reserved
The documentation and program files are in two archived files. HMM.ARC
contains the documentation and help files are in HMM.ARC and the program
files are in HMMPHGM.ARC. To use HMM-II on a floppy disk you will need
two blank floppy disks. Put this disk in the "A" drive and a blank disk
in the "B" drive and type FLOPPY and push ENTER. 3-1/2" disk users can
put the disk in one drive, type FLOPPY and just push ENTER each time you
are requested to change disks.
To use on a hard disk put this disk in your floppy drive and type
HARDDISK and push ENTER.
Note: The help files will need to be on the same disk as the .EXE files.
The documentation can then be printed by typing:
COPY HMMII.DOC LPT1: <push enter>
Type HMM to start running Home Money Manager II
If you should run into any problems with this disk we will send you a
new disk, with the latest version of HMM-II at no charge. Send this
disk to us and include 45 cents in postage. We'll copy the latest
version of HMM-II onto it and return it to you. Also please enclose
a note describing the problem you are having. Our address is:
HomeCraft
P.O. Box 974
Tualatin, OR 97062
If, when you first start using HMM-II, you get what appears to be
garbage characters on the screen, then you need to use the Make
A New Data File function on the SET UP Menu. This function creates
new, empty data files for HMM-II to use. The garbage characters (i.e.
graphics characters, happy faces, beeping, etc.) come from old files
that were erased but still are on your disk. The code required by
the Make A Data File function is 203.
