  4. │You are un-compressing the PRINTERS.EXE file to create the Printer Action    │
  5. │Table files to use with a PRO DEV Software program.  The files that will be  │
  6. │created, all have .PAT as the file name extender.  When the PAT files are on │
  7. │the disk with your PRO DEV programs, the programs will use the file selected │
  8. │by you for your printer to turn on Near Letter Quality and/or compressed     │
  9. │printing.                                                                    │
  10. │                                                                             │
  11. │If you have a hard disk, Change Directory to the sub-directory containing    │
  12. │the program files and insert the PRO DEV Shareware disk in drive A: and type │
  13. │A:PRINTERS (Enter).                                                          │
  14. │                                                                             │
  15. │If you do NOT have a hard disk, place the working program disk in drive B:.  │
  16. │Place the Shareware disk in drive A:.  Type A: (Enter) to see the A: prompt. │
  17. │Type PRINTERS -eB:\ (Enter).  The "-eB:\" will direct the output to B:.      │
  18. │                                                                             │
  19. │If you are using the INSTALL program on the Shareware disk, all of the above │
  20. │is being automatically done for you.                                         │

  22. │If you ARE ready to continue, type Y to the following question.  If you have │
  23. │NOT gotten your disk ready, type N.                                          │
