  6. Starting with v2.3, the DataLink
  7. software is now supplied on both 5.25"
  8. and 3.5" disks.
  9.  
  10. On the 3.5" version you will get a menu
  11. which will allow you to choose between
  12. the DataTerm software, the Online 64
  13. software or the DataLink utilities
  14. programs.  From here, the menus are
  15. basically the same as described in the
  16. manual.

  21.   Versions prior to v2.0 were called
  22. "DataLinker" and only supported the
  23. DataLink 1200 bps modem.

  103.    E     Exit with port active

  106. Pressing 'Q' will hang up the modem and
  107. exit the program.  'E' will exit the
  108. program and leave you connected to a
  109. remote computer (if you had established
  110. connection).  ESC (escape) will return
  111. you to the DataTerm program.

  119. Open Apple-I  -  Initialize
  120.  
  121. The OA-I command does the same thing as
  122. a control-reset but without dropping
  123. carrier.  This is useful if line noise
  124. puts you in inverse or somehow turns 
  125. off the 80 column display.  OA-I does
  126. not read your dl.config, dl.startup or
  127. dl.macros files.  It will display the
  128. opening DataTerm screen and prompt you
  129. to press space to continue.

  135. Apple-M menu has been changed.

  153. 'Debug' in hopes of causing less
  154. confusion.  This command is used to
  155. 'Debug' your MACRO files.

  160. Option [7] is now Option [5] and has
  161. been renamed 'Debug'.  Debug is used
  162. when you are 'debugging' a macro (or
  163. command) file.  Set it to 'TRUE' to
  164. have all macro commands 'echoed' to the
  165. screen, and set it to 'FALSE' for
  166. normal operation.

  168. New Feature:  Time Constant: 10
  169.  
  170. This feature is used to adjust timing 
  171. loops in DataTerm to your computer's 
  172. speed.  
  173.  
  174. Calibrating this value will ensure that
  175. if you have a 'PAUSE' or 'SET TIMER'
  176. command in a macro, it will PAUSE or 
  177. WAIT for the number of seconds you have
  178. set.

  180. In order to set this value for your
  181. machine, we have provided a macro on
  182. the disk that will beep three times
  183. with a ten second pause between beeps.

  185. This macro can be accessed by pressing
  186. CLOSED APPLE-T.

  237. set to the directory in which its files
  238. are located in order to run.  After you
  239. have run OnLine 64 you can change the
  240. prefix to whatever you wish by using
  241. the 'Change Prefix' command in the FILE
  242. commands section of the program.
