This is a five card version of the card game Cribbage. The program can be run in one of two modes; Play or Play & Learn. In Play mode, just the totals are shown, while in Play & Learn mode, a breakdown of the scoring is shown.
Each player is dealt five cards. Two of these must be put into the box. The remainder of the pack is cut to obtain a turn-up card. The players then take it in turns to lay cards until neither player can lay without the total score exceeding sixty-one, or all cards have been laid. If a card takes the score to fifteen or thirty-one, the player that laid it scores one point. Points are also scored for runs, pairs etc.
When this stage has been completed, both hands and the box are scored, with points being scored for fifteens, 2/3/4 of a kind, runs etc. The box alternates between players. The composition of the score is displayed in a text panel in Play & Learn mode. The first player to reach thirty-one wins.
