  5. Xi-Bar is a user-friendly backup, archive and retrieval system for all
  6. currently known versions of UNIX. Adaptable to any suitable backup media, it
  7. provides automatic and manual, full and incremental backup of files; off-line
  8. archiving and integrated recovery, using its own catalogue of media. Special
  9. files, such as databases (where only small segments have been updated), may be
  10. specially handled as desired, and priorities may be set to control the order of
  11. handling of directories, mount points, etc. A screen-based control program is
  12. provided to review file status and specify requests, and to review and control
  13. the progress of backup tasks.
