  7. Frontier supports UNIX System V TCP/IP. The Super-X.25 Network Interface for
  8. Streams provides a complete X.25 connection, including the Super-X.25 protocol
  9. code downloaded to the AdCom2-I adapter card, and the ``Network Connection
  10. Handler'' driver, a special hardware driver developed by Frontier which
  11. translates the IP data into X.25 packets. The driver uses the System V Streams
  12. Link Provider interface protocol to communicate with IP
  13.  
  14. Connection to an X.25 network is achieved through the cooperation of Frontier's
  15. Super-X.25 software package executing on the AdCom2-I and TCP/IP within the
  16. UNIX environment. the installed Super-X.25 Network Interface will operate
  17. invisibly to the user

  19. Super-X.25 can be used on systems which also use Ethernet devices. The Ethernet
  20. hardware and software can be purchased separately and operate independently of
  21. and parallel with the AdCom2-I hardware and Super-X.25 software.
