  8. develop customized programs to communicate with IBM mainframe applications.
  9. Applications developed with the BrxLUO API library of C subroutines use the
  10. underlying functionality of Brixton's BrxPU2.1 SNA Server to connect to IBM's
  11. System Network Architecture (SNA) networks.  BrxLUO API facilitates
  12. UNIX-to-IBM connectivity by enabling your programs to control your SNA session
  13. traffic utilizing all the SNA Request Units (RUs).
  14. Linking UNIX-based programs with IBM mainframe applications allows you to
  15. share information across different corporate computing platforms.  BrxLUO API
  16. frees your programs from the constraints of 3270 data stream communications,
  17. offering instead a flexible interface for you to control session-level data
  18. transfers from a variety of UNIX-based systems.  You can develop programmable
  19. secondary logical units (SLU-P) to share data with IBM mainframe applications
  20. like IMS, TSO, CICS, and your own mainframe applications.
