  7. ODDESY++ is an integrated ENTERPRISE WORKBENCH or developing OBJECT ORIENTED,
  8. CLIENT SERVER applications in C++ and GUI environment.  The server can be a
  9. UNIX based system with SQL/RDBMS or an ODBMS.  Applications developed using
  10. ODDESY++ are database, GUI and communications independent.  ODDESY++ makes
  11. extensive use of foundation classes, template classes and method
  12. instantiation.  It consists of a series of workbenches (Designer, Developer,
  13. Administrator, Test and Browser) which support the full application life
  14. cycle.  Applications for MS Windows are automatically generated.  Windows,
  15. forms, reports designer and editor, as well as version management, along with
  16. DOM, are also provided.  CORBA compliance and DCE implementation will be
  17. available in the 3rd Quarter, 1994.  A character based version of ODDESY is
  18. also available, which incorporates a high level 4/5GL in an interpretive
  19. environment.  It generate "C" code automatically and provides a complete
  20. source code, release, configuration and version management.
