  5. ACE*Tester is a productivity tool designed to reduce the testing cycle in
  6. SQL*Forms application development, and ensure that new applications go into
  7. production free of bugs.  It helps testers devise a test plan that takes an
  8. application through all its possible execution paths, thereby eliminating an
  9. expensive, lengthy cycle of backtracking and retesting.  ACE*Tester
  10. accomplishes this by providing a wealth of information to testers, including:

  12. Code Profile Report, which for every SQL statement, PL/SQL statement, and
  13. SQL*Forms command, shows a count of executions; an average, cumulative, and
  14. maximum execution time; and the percentage of a trigger's total execution time
  15. accounted for by a statement or command.

  17. Code Coverage Report, which marks every line of code as executed or not
  18. executed; shows the percentage of code executed on the form and
  19. trigger/procedure levels; and after a trigger is modified, marks as unexecuted
  20. code that is affected by the modification.

  23. trigger to trigger, and calls from trigger to procedure.
